Obelix had his stag party last weekend!
Great costume, great fun!!! Did you all survive!?
Looking forward to the wedding next weekend… in FRANCE!!!!
I have seen Sakura ( Cherry blossom) here and there in Munich!!!
But they are not classic Somei Yoshino type.
Cherry Blossoms remind me of pleasant times
at this particular time of year, April.
Looking at this Sakura with clear blue sky in the back is just so peaceful,
I just forget all the S%#$ happening in my life!
It is one of my favorite flowers since I will never see them in Munich…
This flower is everywhere in Thailand and in countries with tropical climates.
It is also called as ” Temple Tree”, since they are often seen around
the Buddhist temples in south and southeast Asia.
( Among the locals, the tree is believed to provide the shelter for ghosts and spirits…!)
In Hawaii and several pacific Islands,
they are used for making Leis necklace♥♥
Ko Tao is about 2 hours by Ferry from Ko Samui.
The island is Thai Government own and known as ” Divers Paradise”.
The Shark Bay ( Thian Og) is at the southern tip of the island.
The water is blue-jade-green with white sand.
This is my third visit on Ko Tao,
but unfortunately I found this island is overpopulated these days,
and becoming a party island…especially the main beach, Sairee.
However the island is even still worth visiting.
Save the nature and Save Ko Tao!
PROST NEUJAHR- A very happy new year-!!!! Sorry for not updating for long time, but here is the reason.
I was exploring Cambodia and Thailand for 3 weeks to get away from cold and dark winter in Europe.
Cambodia was always one of my top list for ” MUST GO country”
for the world-famous Angkor Archaeological Park.
I also learned lots about this World Heritage during my student years, and my University donates to preserve Angkor Wat.
My dream finally came true, and I am just amazed with what I saw…
Love the Khmer smile. Beautiful.
